The Group Fitness COVID-19 Series was designed to provide current information, reliable resources, and a general understanding of COVID-19 safety protocols necessary to perform their service. As a Group Fitness Instructor, your goal should be to provide a safe and COVID-19 low risk transmission group class, while increasing consumer confidents. This workshop does NOT focus on the legal aspects of waiver forms or insurance requirements related to non-face to face instruction.
The workshop will cover the following:
Part 1 Understanding COVID-19 (1 hr.)
Part 2 Developing COVID-19 Safety Plans (1 hr.)
Part 3 Protocols for gyms and fitness centres (1 hr.)
As the aging population of 50+ becomes the largest population on our planet, we as health professionals will find the demand for services in this area increases. As with any specialty area, there is a base knowledge that is required to further specialize in any field. Our Older Adult instructor Course will provide you with this base knowledge by a combination of both theoretical and practical exercise science knowledge as it relates to this specialty client.
